Want season tickets, but can't
commit to all the games? Want someone to share the experience of
Islanders hockey? If those are your questions, then the New York
Islanders and the team's official message board Islander Mania have
the answers for you. It's called Share-A-Ticket through Islander
Mania.
Fans that are looking for someone to share season tickets now have a
place to connect with one another. By logging onto
'IslandersMania'
and clicking on the
'Share a Ticket'
forum, fans can connect with other Islanders fans that are looking
to do the same.
"Through our partnership with Islander Mania, we are giving our fans
a new resource for buying season tickets and becoming a member of
the Islanders family," said Chris Dey, the Islanders Senior Vice
President of Sales, Marketing & Operations. "The program has been
live for a few weeks now and we've already seen results. Islanders
fans are connecting with each other when they might not have had the
opportunity before, enabling them to enjoy the benefits that come
with owning season tickets."
Once paired up, all fans need to do is contact an Islanders Ticket
Sales Representative who will do the rest. As a season ticket
holder, fans will receive up to 50% off box office prices and all
the other perks that come with it. The Islanders also have customer
service representatives on the message board interacting with fans
to aid in making connections.
"We're thrilled to be able to help our fellow fans make connections
to own Islanders season tickets," said Lisa Podell, Administrator
and founder of Islander Mania. "Our partnership with the Islanders
continues to grow everyday and this is just the latest example of
how the team is trying to connect with their fans through different
mediums. As fans of the team, we couldn't be happier to assist."
